Excuse of the day

January 26, 2010

I know, I know… I haven’t been updating this blog as regularly as I should.

Well, keep in mind this is a blog about creativity, and good creative takes time. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

P.S. I’m working on a couple of exciting things now, and will write about it as soon as it’s done. Stay tuned.

Quote of the day.

November 10, 2009

Some people can read War and Peace and come away thinking it’s a simple adventure story. Others can read the ingredients on a chewing gum wrapper and unlock the secrets of the universe.

– Lex Luthor in Superman the Movie

A great creative person can extrapolate a ton of information from just a couple of clues, just by staying curious.

Quote of the day.

November 8, 2009

“Logic leads to reason, but emotion creates action.”

Essentially, every voluntary decision you’ll ever make in your life will be an emotional one, and not logical. We use logic to shape our thinking, which in turn, alters our emotions. But without the emotional go-ahead, we are incapable of taking action from out thinking.

When it comes to using creativity to achieve a goal, or moreover, using it to get somewhere with someone, always remembering that the key trigger is emotional will take you a long way in planning your creative attempt.

“An idea is an act of association.”

Like when a Caveman sees a rock rolling down a hill and thinks, “A wheel!” It’s the coming together of two things to create something new.
